Ceramic braces
Ceramic or clear fixed braces blend in with your teeth to provide an alternative to metal braces. Their translucent ceramic brackets are stain-resistant and adapt to every shade of smile for discreet teeth straightening.
Just as with traditional metal braces, ceramic braces attach to each tooth and then connect with a wire. Through careful placement of the brackets, we gradually shift your teeth into place to pull them into proper alignment.
Who are ceramic braces for?
Ceramic braces treat the same bite and alignment issues as traditional metal braces do. We can use them to treat patients with cases of overbites, underbites, crossbites, teeth with gaps, overcrowded teeth, crooked teeth and symptoms of sleep apnea. They are a popular option as Adult Braces or Teen Braces and a more discreet alternative to traditional metal braces.
In extreme cases where we need to change the structure of the teeth, ceramic braces may be less effective than metal ones.
